Item Description

Pilling® Michler-Gerbode Sternal Retractor

Designed to provide retraction on a broad segment of sternum, thus preventing pressure on soft tissues. Sternal fracture from the retractor is less likely to occur. The blades are of simple, smooth construction without protuberances to catch sutures. Blades are designed to place pressure on sternum but not on overlying soft tissue.
