• Tonsil Sponges

• Tonsil sponges are used at the end of a forceps for absorption and pressure hemostatic control during tonsil and adenoid surgery.
• They can also be drawn into position and tied to a catheter for use after nasal surgical procedures for postnasal or sphenoid packing, applying medication following surgery, and for control of hemorrhaging or drainage.
• Pilling® Surgical Tonsil Sponges feature double stringing for secure retrieval after use, and are available in a wide variety of choices including gauze, cotton or gauze cotton-filled in three sizes.
• Other choices include strung or non-strung, X-ray detectable, sterile and non-sterile.
